Connection Error – Configure the operational database

While installing System Center Operations Manager 2012 Sp1, I faced an error when tried connecting to a remote SQL database on the Configure the operational database wizard as illustrated below:

Resolution:

You need to ensure the computer running SQL Server must have the SQL Server Full-Text Search component installed. Simply re-run the SQL setup on the SQL Server, and add the SQL feature called Full-Text and Semantic Extarctions for Search, as illustrated below. Once completed, retry SCOM 2012 Sp1 installation.
